They run afoul of another giant monster and the Battlepug save the day. It’s here the warrior meets the Battlepug who is pretty much a happy cuddly pug except for the whole size thing. So the warrior heads south looking for Catwulf and stumbles across another destroyed village and a survivor who has gone a bit crazy and adds “scribbly” and “scrabbly” to most sentences. The boy is “saved” by elves from the far north and it is there the boy grows into the barbarian hero of the story in one of the more twisted tales that has been done. This is one of the greatest comic pages ever, it’s a giant seal, and it looks SO happy as it rampages through the village! But as is always the case there is one survivor who swears vengeance and in this case it’s a young boy. In the snowy lands of the Kinmundy and village is wiped out by the arch villain Catwulf who attacks with a Godzilla sized harp seal. The dogs want a story that has other dogs in it so Moll decides to tell them the true story of “The Battlepug!” And so the real story begins… And the first volume is called “Blood and Drool.” Honestly I should be able to stop here but I won’t, the series starts off with a woman named Moll in the tower of an Arabian style palace with her two (talking) dogs Colfax and Mingo. The premise should be hook enough to get you to read it: A Conan the Barbarian type with a pug dog the size of a medium elephant seeks revenge on the person who wiped out his village. This is an insane and awesome web and print comic.
